The Weinsteins visit. Ruth has a birthday.

Joel and Nancy picked a cold week to visit. But they still sat outside and had the warmth of the sun.
We took a day trip to Savannah. We ate lunch at Toucan. Ice cream at Leopold's and then went to the Bluffton Farmers market for dinner of pulled pork sandwich. We also walked the streets of the city and drove around Bon Adventure cemetary.

Beautiful church in Savannah.

Forsyth park. Our favorite fountain.

Toucan for lunch.

Holden gave a report on Elvis Presley and dressed up like him. I think he looked great.

Mollie loves her American Girl doll.

She got her one ear pierced again. So she is not polled sided any more.

Harbor Town for ice cream and a walk around.

68 years old.

Stupid golfers. We were watching them. They took a gold club and hit the alligator to try to get it to move away from the ball that is near the tail. When they came near us with the golf cart, Jack told them it is not legal to harass it.

MD visit the VH and Cale Ripken baseball Center.

We flew to MD and stayed at Ellen House. Sadie is loving volley ball. And she is going to be in a play. Both girls dance and take gymnastics. We ate well. Chinese food and crab cakes. Along with the double chocolate Wegmans cake.
Holden and his team went to the Cal Ripken center to play a baseball tournament. It is every boys dream and also the fathers. We were able to have a great visit with the G kids also.

Eve had her 42 th birthday. She posted this on FB.

A very special man , Gordan Farbstein, died after a long illness of cancer. I loved Gordan. He was fun, kind and had the bluest eyes.
He was part of our bike group and we called him, the cornel, since his helmut looked like one. He died at 88 years and was biking with us at 85 years. He would be at the end of the line and someone always stayed back with him.

Picture taken Dec. 2010 with a bike group as it was that year.

Nov. 4, 2013. We had a lunch at Gordan and Sherri house.

Feb.

I suffered from blog fog again. I just could not seem to write a post.
Abe came in second in a basketball tournament. CDS played Colfax school.
There were 23 teams from all over the city but the final games came to two neighboring schools. Abe is playing so well.

The boy is all legs.

Nathan gave a report in school about Jackie Robinson and was great. He is wearing the T shirt with 42 on it. Sadie did a report about Michelle Obama.

Nathan is taking sewing classes with Jen Primack. This is a reversible kippa. He also made PJs.

All the little girls are singing the song from the movie Frozen. Adley belts it out using the hand movements from the movie. So cute.
Purim came and I was dying for a hamamtuskin. Not something you can buy in HHI and I did not feel like baking. Mollie was in a play at the temple. The K kids dressed in costumes.
Abe bought this suit at Nordstrom's in Sept. And has grown about three inches. It is getting small.

We had a big thing. Mollie decided she likes and will eat a hot dog but not with the bun. One more thing a picky eater adds to her diet.

There was a decade day at schoo. Mollie is dressed like the 1950s.

Abe has started with braces. He is having a palate expander put in. Laura has to give it a turn wider for eighteen days.

The G kids with picture pillows.

We flew back to Pgh and had a nice visit with the K kids. We took Mollie and Nathan to the Sports Works and they both climbed the wall many times. Wonderful dinners at Laura's. Lamb chops, brownies

It has been a cold winter. This was one of the good days. We went to a friends yard that is ocean front. We are with Diane and Bob Friedman.

Leila R. Came to visit Adley. The girls love each other and have so much fun together.

Jack had his 69th birthday. It was low key.

Dinner at the Heimlechs and a carrot cake.

Holden celebrated his 11th birthday. He was such a happy and fat baby.

March

We got back from India and were terribly jet lagged. I also got a cold and my hives are bad. So were were zombies for a while. We spent four days with Eve in NJ, mostly sleeping. It was the Chinese New Year of the horse. On Saturday we went to the Mandarin Pre School for a program and dinner. I was so shocked than so many of the kids are not Asian. There were black and white kids going to the school. Parents that want the kids to learn a different culture. Adley was great but really did not want to be on the stage.

Maya is now taller than me and quite a nice girl. And pretty.

It has been cold and tons of snow in the north all winter. Our bedroom in the basement at Eve's house was a little cold but we were so tired. Eve fed and took are of us. On Sunday we drove to MD for a visit with Ellen. They were predicting a snow storm. So we stayed the afternoon and ate dinner and then drove three hours south and away from the bad weather.
