Happy Anniversary

Today is the 39th anniversary. It was a quiet day. We put the outside furniture away and had the K for dinner. The flu bug has arrived in the K house and they were out of sorts.

Julie Sills and Mitch Cepler have double big news. They are excepting TWINS in March. I am so thrilled and excited for them.

I taught, showed Cheryl how to import pictures into the iPad and edit, and send pictures with the iPad. She was so happy. As it will make her work easier. She just did not know about the little camera kit. We did our three mile walk and our stop for coffee.

Laura has a birthday

Happy birthday to Laura.
Here are pictures of her at two years of age.

Here is Laura with the kids blowing out the candles on her cake. I went to the Oakmont Bakery. Very expensive and very good.

Brisket, potato kugel and boil potatoes for Rosh hashanah dinner at the K.
Laura made the soup and apple honey cake. It was a wonderful dinner. Many leftovers. So we put it in the freezer and we will see it for Yum Kippur.

Rhonda and Glen G came into The city for the holiday. it was good seeing them. Amy, Able A and their two kids Leigh and Eli also visited.

Children's services at the JCC. Out membership has gotten so large there is not room for all the activities at our temple.

Aunt Reda and Laura and Mollie. Mollie has a big fluffy dress on.

Nathan passed to the orange belt in karate. Jack and I went to the testing and were proud of him.

Mollie "played" soccer on Sat? Notice her pink shoes, shorts and ball. The blue skirt is the team color.

I hear Emma is now sleeping in her bathing suit. She is now in a big girl bed. She loves Ariel this month and the suit had Ariel on it.

Ernie had a second operation on his back this week. Ten days after the first one. The wound became infected. He has a staff infection. He will need an IV drip for one month. He is very weak and completely confused now. Not a good situation and I feel very sad.

The G family had a holiday dinner. Here is a picture of Maya with her grandma and two great aunts. It is a close family unit and I feel good the grandchildren have this experience. The picture is blurry.

Sports for Fall

The fall season of sports have started.
Here is Mollie playing soccer. Notice she plays with pink clothes.
She also dances.

Nathan plays baseball. And takes karate. And swims.

Abe plays soccer and loves basketball and football.

Sadie dances and is a brownie. She is selling girl scout cookies now, if anyone would like to buy some!

Holden is our baseball player. And golfer.

Maya is a swimmer. She started middle school this week and is very happy.

The Lewis family came back to town. We had a bridal shower for Sarah.

Mayer Davi Baby announcement. Very cute. Sara knitted the sock he is in.
Very sad to say, Mike entered assisted living home this week. He has Parkinson disease and his health is not good. Mike and Jack have been good friends since they were in their twenties. We had many good times with these friends.

The Pearl family. Elizabeth, staycee, Andy, herman, Joyce, Ernie. They were at a wedding.

Jack and I went bike riding. Here is a picture with Fred Rodgers at the football stadium.

Abe got a droid cell phone. He was so excited that he was yelling all around the store. He was waiting outside their house to show me the phone and how it worked. Laura got a new iPhone also.
