Sept. In HHI

It is the best time to visit. All the tourists are gone. The beach is filled will parents, pregnant and pre schoolers. And empty nesters.
Kathy P and Jack on the beach. The newly built Beach Club is in the background. It is a great addition to Sea Pines. I just wish they had added more parking for the cars.

Enjoying our pool.

A bike ride on a Sunday. We are sitting on the 18 th hole of Harbour Town Golf Course.

Joann Erfer and husband Ted came for dinner. She grew up with me on Burchfield Ave. we had not seen each other for 50 years. We had a wonderful evening talking and talking. And we did not talk about the old days. Seeing her was a real treat.

We went to a restaurant in Hardeevile, SC for Joe Loves Lobster Rolls. A three oz. roll cost $10. 5oz was $14. That included a bag of chips, pickle or cole slaw and a can of pop. It was very good.

Stu and Mollie went to a father daughter dance at the River's Club. I think this picture is the cutest..

Abe is now on the Bar Mitzvah circuit. This was the first event. The boys decided this is how they would all dress.

Joyce, Rosa and I drove to Canton, OH for a lunch visit with the Barnett cousins.
First row. Gail Goldfarb Bleckman, me, Brenda Barnett Miller
Second row. Barbara friedman Spera, Rosa, Marilyn hoicowitz Levin, Joyce, Evelyn Barnett Leopold Herman, Jim Barnett
Third row. Bernice Friedman.

Kathy P was in need of a new car. Jack assisted her in buying it. It is a
Madza CX5.

Look how happy she is getting ready to sign the big check?

15 years later and they look even better.

All the VH grandchildren at Emma's 5th birthday party.

The four men went to a Steeler football game. Nathan was bored and they had to leave at 1/2 time.

There were two deaths this month. Robin Williams (62). hung himself. Suffering from depression. Joan Rivers (82). Died from a minor surgery that went bad. We lost two wonderful talents in a two week period.

I had a fun day taking Anna W. Shopping for back to school clothes. She was a pleasure to be with.

One other day we spent cooking.
Lemon shrimp with noodles, roasted vegetables, turkey meatballs, banana cake.

Cookies.

Holden got hit by a kid at the team party the night before the championship game which they won.

Doc Martin shoes for Maya's birthday. Gift from both sets of grandparents .

The Circus comes to town

The Pittsburgh JCC brought in a circus camp. 82 kids attended for four long days and then there were three shows. Mollie was one of the kids and loved it. I was so proud our these children. It was scary doing some of these stunts. They all had smiles and felt sure of themselves. What a positive experience.

Here are pictures of some of the other acts.

This little boy was thrown from one person to the next.

This is Samantha honig, 12 years. Her dad said he could only watch the show one time. He was a wreck watching her.
