Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah in HHI with the K family.

The Schreibman family were staying in our house. We got to see them before they left. Mayer is 1 yr. Asher is 4 yr. Philip.

This is the case I use to pack up all the Apple products. The picture is missing the iPod and my iPhone, which I used to take the picture. It is not easy packing to go someplace.

Emma is four years old. She had her party at a jump gym. I sent her an outfit for her American Girl Doll. She liked it!

Joan and Bob Diamond just celebrated 50 years of marriage. Joan's brother bought them a bike built for two for their wedding present. This is the new one for 50 years. They had a month long celebration with all six of their children , 13 grandchildren, and families and other relatives visiting. This is their first day alone.

First day of school for the G family
Holden , 5th grade. and Adley. Adley is going to a Chinese immersion school starting next week. Mostly Chinese speaking.

Maya 7th grade. With friend. Picture is too dark, but it is the first day of school.

Vacation with the K family in HHI.
We spend Labor Day and Rosh Hashanah in HHI. Perfect weather. We did a sunset kayak tour. There were four adults and four kids in each kayak. Everything was perfect. Mollie was having the best time. Then the biting flies attack Mollie. And the screaming began. And that girl can yell. It is a wonder that the water police did not come. There was no picture as we left the cameras in the car.
The beach was beautiful. Water hot. On the last day Nathan and I got both got bitten by jelly fish.

Swimming at the P Pool, Harbour Town and out pool.

Dylan L. Came with Abe.

Nathan learned how to blend smoothies.

We went out to dinner.

Hilton Head Ice Cream

Bernie P came over and made Philly Cheese Steaks at our house.

We got dressed up and went to Rosh Hashanah services at Temple Beth Yum.

Basketball at the Soby's

The Soby's new puppy, Ella.

6:00 in the morning and on their way home. They drove home in 11 hours and 15 minutes. Two stops. Quite impressive.

Biking all around Sea Pines.

We went to see Greg Russell preform his last show of his 37th season.

Mollie learning to blow the shofer.

Eve Joyce Pearl is growing up. One month old.

We rented our house on Saturday and had to leave the house. We went to stay at the P house to stay for two extra days. Then off to Charlotte overnight and dinner, to visit with Mike Schriebman. He is in a nursing home for Parkinson's and memory problems. This is his 69 th birthday dinner.

Here is our visit with Mike S. I do not think he knew us. He stares! This was a sad time. The situation is so hard for Sara, his wife. A wife living a widows life. With huge financial expenses. She has to continue working. Mike was so funny, so much fun. A loving man. This illness is caused by Agent Orange while he served our country in the Vietnam War. He has been ill for the last 15-19 years. We started seeing changes in his personality and health years ago. Could not figure out what was happening .

July 2011 two hours after meeting the girls.

Eva Joyce is growing. She is smiling and it is funny.

Emma had her fourth birthday. I sent this baby doll dress and she was pleased.

Abe had a service to celebrate the beginning of sixth grade. They got new larger Sedors . A few kids moved back to Israel and some transferred to other schools. Now there are 21 kids. 5 of them a girls. I wish it was a larger class. Abe is happy and did not want to change schools, and they should get more attention.

We went to a noodle restaurant. We had a soup that tasted like salty water. Not good will not be going back. Everyday Noodle in Squirrel Hill.

This is TJ Max and a selection of Baggolini purses. I bought the purple one.

VH to HHI, lobster

Lobster night. 2 1/3 pounds.

The VH. are in HHI for the week.
Within the first 90 minutes Jim and Sadie got stung by jelly fish at the beach. And off the beach they went. But they did come back.

Looks like Sadie is getting too big for the burley.

The pool was a big hit. They visited all their favorite places.

Nathan had a sleepover. Then we went to the Carnegie Science Center for the day. ALL day. Five hours and we closed the place. He talked to the volunteer for 45 minutes in the submarine asking ? After ?. Then there was the bike exhibit. And the water area. And the hurricane table. And lunch and a snack of ice cream.

Then we had an Abe sleepover. We went to Burgr for dinner. Then to the movie, the Bulter. A little grownup for Abe but educational. The next day Jack and Abe went bike riding on the river. They then ate lunch at the CheeseCake Factory.
Abe loved basketball socks and basketball. Who knew that would be something you collect like baseball cards and Barbie dolls.
