B'nai Mitzvah of Maya And Holden. September 4, 2015

Sunday night the out of towners had dinner at a party room in a park. It was BarBQ and good food. Marilyn G made all the appetizers. Eleanor G made wonderful desserts. I need to get the recipe of the nut and fruit cookies

The BM was at 10:30 AM Monday. Then we all went to a local restaurant for a Italian lunch buffet. The kids had kid food and a magician and ballon man to entertain them. I could not have been prouder and happier in any way.
Both Holden and Maya did a perfect job. But how would I know, I do not read Hebrew!



















The next weekend was a kids party.






This is the cake. Maya and Holden are on the top of the cake. Adley is a layer down. She is always part of the group.

The two sets of grandparents, Eve, Dave ,Adley and Suzy Siber Woods went to Cooperstown for the week to watch Holden play baseball. 104 teams, about 1200 kids and coaches stay in the park. They are from all over the country. The boys are from age 10 -12 years. It is a Disney for baseball. It is a dream for a boy to be here. Well, it rained and rained for five days.

Confederate flag at the state capital in Columbia SC. After a mass murder in a church in Charleston, it was finally removed.








After Strom Thurmond died, at was reviled that as a teen he fathered a child with him black ,aid. The writing on the statue was changed from four children to five.

Back to school for the grandkids. September 2015

Adley goes to a Mandarin Emerson school. She is in Kindergarten, a year early. She turns five in November.
