Newton, CN and the 6 flags cemetery.

Sandy Hook elementary school. On 12/14 -- 20 elementary school children and 7 female teachers were killed by a shooter, killed himself, at the school. Boy had mental problems. He also shot him mother. The country is in grief and I feel so SAD. We need. Gun control, better mental care and more love between people.

I was out walking and heard TAPS playing at the cemetery. Walked over and all the military groups were having a service for the veterans. About 100 people attended. Then there were a couple hundred wreaths to be placed on graves. None are placed in the Jewish area of the cemetery. They knew not to put them there. They put flags on the veteran graves at Beth Yam.

The Levins have a bench just off the Jewish section. They plan to be cremated and there was a problem being buried on the Jewish ground. So you sit on their bench and your feet are in the Beth Yam area. I placed a wreath in the tree behind the bench. The bench holds 20 remains. They said we can be placed there but I think NO. It should be just their family. but that was a very generous offer.

In 1966, Sea Pines was just being built. Charles Frazer had plans for everything. Families were living on the island, to develop and build it. A 6 year old girl became ill. He never thought to have a medical staff here. She was taken to Beaufort. But died because it took too long. He was in shock. How could this happen. He never thought about his employees and families getting sick and he had not provided health care on the island. In one day, a group of his men planned , designed the cemetery. And four days later this little girl was buried there. In the beginning the Jewish people were buried with others. Now they have their own area.

Did you ever buy something and it is a mistake? Well the dishwasher broke two weeks before we were leaving in the spring. I bought a new one quickly and it stinks. I just can not go buy another new one. So try to find a
solution ! The tray has too large openings and things do not place well and tip over. So I am fixing the problem. Looks funny. But works. What will the renters think next summer when they see this.
