Pony ride.
Going home after a great five days with the grandparents.
We had to miss grandparents day at CDS. Joel and Nancy stepped in for us.
I have not had a wedding band that fitted, since my fingers got deformed with arthritis. I felt funny and not quite married. Jack thought it was silly. But I needed a wedding band that fitted. So this is the new one. It is white gold and fits around the diamond engagement ring. I feel so much better now.
Happy Birthday to Stuart. 55 years old
Elaine also had a birthday. Notice how my cake is a mess. The top layer slipped off the bottom one while being carried and the icing got all messed up.
Father daughter dance with the Brownies.
The VH went to the beach for Memorial Day.
We went to CDS for a event for Nathan. The kids did roots on different states. He did West Virginia. We are so proud of him he is doing great in school. He works slower but gets the work done and correct. Nathan's reading is above grade level.
It is dance recital time. We went to MD to see Sadie dance three times. Emmett did two dances. They were great.
Two sets of grandparents. Jim and Beth VH
Jack and I went to Downtown Pgh. So much has changed and so much is gone. The four department stores, Kaufmanns, Gimbles, Hornes and SFA are all gone. We one have a low rated Macy. There are apartments and many new places to eat. This is the Mellon Pavilion that was finally improved. It was falling apart and the city had no money to rebuild it.
Stuart and Linda Miller had a celebration brunch for the recent marriage of their son Aaron to LuiMei. It was nice to see their family so happy. Baby Clarence was there with his parents Jesse and Ryan. He is a beautiful child.
I sitting in the backyard taking on the phone and I saw this black snake on the other chair. I had to start screaming. I do not like snakes. If you look at his center, it is fat. So he has just eaten something.
