Sept. 29. Todga Gorges, Ouarzazate

We stopped to see how they dig and make all the wells for water. The water comes from the mountains. They dig out the wells , one close to the next. We saw and walked through ones that had dried up.

They use this bowl with a small hole in the bottom. The sand is very very fine. It drips through the hole, and they know when about one hour has passed, when in the caves / wells.

Three little boys were playing with a soccer ball that was so worn out. A few men gave the father, our guide for this area, money to buy them a new ball. Now, let us hope he uses the money for the ball and does not pocket it for the family or himself. Chava showing the boys a video she made of them.
