Now it is coffee. He is a coffee drinker. He likes to grind the beans and make the coffee. Put the milk and sugar in. He is now an authority on the different types of coffee. He thinks Dunkin Donuts is the best and wants the vanilla bean. Only it does not come in decaf. I told him my coffee was vanilla from the Giant Eagle. Laura says it is a mess on the kitchen counter but Abe is having fun. Then I found out about the sugar, chocolate and coffee grinder from Trader Joes than flavors the coffee. Well, Abe is grinding up a storm. He is a funny boy.
Mollie started Pre K and had her fourth birthday this week. She is a true princess.
Remember the blond hair. I'm sure it will get darker in the next three years.
I went to visit Eve to assist her in moving into her house. She put an addition on the house and they have lived in a basement Apartment for three months. The house is wonderful. There is a large kitchen, new master bedroom and everything is tasteful and beautiful. I had hoped to set up the kitchen but things were not as ready as I hoped. So it is started and Eve will finish putting things away without me. It was a wonderful visit with all the kids. Adley is a wiggle worm. She is determined to get to things. So she rolls and rolls to reach things. She loved to stand and is getting very strong. Maya started fifth grade and Holden started third this week. Holden gave me a tour of his backpack. We discussed the special pencils. He showed me the binder and all the folders in it. He printed a picture of he with Adley for the cover. He loves her. He kisses and hugs her. This was the boy that does not like babies and did not see the reason for this baby coming into the family. Maya is five feet tall, growing like a weed. She has an 8 1/2 size shoe. In the spring, she was the same size shoe as me. Here is Holden after he had soccer practice. a little sweaty.
Here I am working hard cleaning Eve's house! Look how beautiful the wood floors are. They are reclaimed oak barn wood.
Finished kitchen, after I went home. Just beautiful. See the light blue subway tile, Eve's collection of colored old bottles, and fruit animals over the sink. There is a wok for a burner.
Picture of the first day of school. Look at holden's backpack. He had everything but the kitchen sink in it. And everything was organized to perfection. We took the kids into the school for the first day. Adley caused quite a fuss. Everyone wanted to see and touch her. The assistant principle got tears in her eyes.
