Happy Jewish New Year

We drove home from HHI one half on Monday. Stayed with our friends Sara and Mike. We got to play with their grandchild Asher. He is 2 1/2 years and a bundle of energy. Then we got home to Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
We had a wonderful Jewish New Year dinner with Laura. She made wonderful brisket and chicken soup. Then she made a honey cake with chocolate chips for dessert that was great. Not too heavy or dry. We went to temple both days. There was a service in the Barnett Chapel. The room was redecorated and is now the home of the adult education center. Everyone is very excited about this. The second night was dinner at Joel and Nancy. Very good matzoh ball soup and brisket. The third night was dinner at the Berger/ Weils. Now we ate lamb chops. The Bernsteins just got back from Israel. The Lewis just got back from Italy. So we have had a lot of wonderful travel talk. The big news is Sara and David Bernstein are having a BABY the beginning of April.
Cheryl and I are walking in the mornings. She is happy talking about the visit with Sylvie and Adrian this month. Grandparneting is great.

Abe is taking guitar lessons again. He is playing Beatles songs and doing very well.

The Grantz family go to Temple.
