Arles. Friday Nov.2

Town where Vincent Van Gogh lived for a few years. He loved the yellow colors of the area. He painted over 150 paintings in 14 months. This is where he cut off part of his ear and gave it to his artist friend Paul Gauguin.
Painting of arena for bull fights from roman time. They are rebuilding it. 20,000 seats. Seating for the wealthy on the bottom and poor people on top. The event would take place all day. Entertainment in the AM. Killing of people in mid day and bull fight in PM.

Woman singing.

French people. Children are always on a scooter.

Cafe that Van Gogh painted. In yellow.

The circus is setting up in town. There are trailers all about the river front.
Also small trailers with washers and dryers. People put their bedding outside windows to air out. And laundry is outside drying.

Two boats tied together and a third cruise boat.
Our boat is tied to the other.
