Out the door at 6:15. Just coffee. Eat breakfast after our tour. We went to a island of lava rock to see animals. We saw an oyster catcher and the ruddy turnstone, names of streets in HHI. The first thing we saw was two turtles mating in the water. It takes about one hour. The male turtle has a concave bottom to fit on top of the female better. Then we saw many iguanas in all sizes and sex.

Sea lion. Baby is about three weeks old. Going to nurse under tree.
Back for breakfast at 8:15. Then we left for snorkeling at 9:30. We had to walk over lava stone to get into the water. It was not easy. Jack did it but I never got my whole body in the cold water. It was not really cold but I hate being cold.
Back at 11:30 and lunch at 12:00.
Dinghy to the bus at 2:30. After this is a turtle breeding center. Two turtles were mating on land. The male turtle makes a bit of noise.
They are trying to get the numbers of turtles birth up so they will not be endangered. We saw turtles from one month to years old. They put a micro chip in them and release them after about ten years.
Turtles on water cooling off.
Turtle egg. The mother will lay the egg after one month of conception. It takes about three months to hatch. Turtles do,not are for their young. Very few make it to adult.
The sea lions kept jumping into the boats. I guess they used it as a diving
platform.
Flamingo

We walked back to the dinghy through a small town with nothing to buy. Just some small restaurants.
