We got Adley on 7-11. We awake early and so excited. We waited in a hall way room with toys special for the babies. They were due at 9:30 and arrived at 10:30. I took a wonderful video but it appears that China is blocking the videos. So I will keep trying to send one or post them when I am back the the US. In walked three people holding three beautiful girls. I was watching through the camera and could not recognize Adley at first. They gave Eve her baby and the crying began. First OURS and then Adley started and kept up for the next hour. She definitely knew this was a stranger and was afraid. The other two girls were fine. Our little girl made quite a fuss and then she finally slept. We went to a Chinese ( what else is there) restaurant for lunch. Adley ate eggs and noodles. We then were off to the adoption center in a government building. Pictures were taken. Eve'e fingerprint. Interview about why you want to adopt. Then off to the police station for a photo of Adley. There were all 14 babies there at the same time. Quite a sight.
At night Adley was out of sorts and overtired. Jack and I looked for a place to eat. Went to the same place as lunch. It was very noisy, we left to look for someplace else and then came back. They would not seat us. Mad at us. So we went to the hotel for a OK meal. adley was awake during the night as expected. The big problem is she will not drink anything or much. We are concerned about dehydration and her being in the heat.
I am going to send this now even thought I have more to say.
It is Tuesday morning and I am babysitting for Jillian eight years,as she is sick. Not going out with the group. We need the iPad so she Can play games.
